Hello, Foxy Dancers!
I’m sure you’ve all heard of Napa’s unfortunate descent back into the Purple Tier. This news is hard on all businesses, and especially sad since you guys have all been so fantastic about sanitizing, mask policy, and keeping Slow Fox safe and healthy! We want to thank you for being such great sports as we fight to keep dancing in this crazy wild world.
So what does that mean for Slow Fox?
The long and the short is: We keep dancing!
Ta ta for now, Pearl St. Location! Since indoor dance studios are no longer allowed in Napa County, Slow Fox will be back in our open-air Fox Den! We’re getting a couple of space heaters, but we do recommend our dancers bring layers to combat the pre-warm-up chill. We’re thrilled to be able to offer private lessons as normal, and we ask that you please help us out by being extra communicative about changes in your schedule and conscientious of the 24-hour cancellation policy.

What about group classes?
While we’re sad to announce that we will not be able to offer group classes right now, we’re more than jazzed to let you know about our newest type of class: Semi-Private lessons! Semi-Private lessons are a budget-friendly alternative to group classes.

So what are semi-private lessons?
Semi-private lessons are offered in a specific dance for two couples (4 people, 2 leaders and 2 followers) at a time. Partner switching is encouraged, but optional. The lesson is 45 minutes long. We are currently offering Semi-Private lessons in Salsa and West Coast Swing. In a semi-private lesson, you will receive much more specific feedback and individual attention from the instructor than you would in a group class, and cultivate visible improvement in a specific dance.
How much do semi-private lessons cost?
While Napa is in the purple tier, we are offering a 20% discount on our 4-week semi-private lesson series. That means that this normally $100 series is now offered for $80 per person (only $20 per lesson!). Semi-private lessons are registration-only (no drop-in option), and spots are limited. Please be sure to check with Natalie about cancellation policy.
Can I use my Slow Fox group class card for semi-private lessons?
Yes! If you so choose, you can use five of your card punches to sign up for the 4-weeks series (this option also saves you an additional 5%), and continue working your way to that free private lesson!
